How Have I Improved

When I first started in this class, all I would do to take a picture was run up to something, snap quick picture of it, and not even check the levels or lighting or if the quality was clear or not.

Eventually, I started flipping my phone to get pictures from different angles; even lying down for two or three of the ones I turned in, to get the best angle of the subject that I could while also making sure that the nearest light source (sun, lamp, etc.) wasn't too bright or dull to be obscuring the picture too much.

I learned to crop out the dead space in a picture that would take away from the main photo subject; which adjustments to levels and shadows and contrast and even color scheme I could and should make to bring a picture to its best quality.

I also learned how to take pictures with a legitimate photography camera and how to work the various different buttons and switches it had to better a picture. Before this class, I had never even seen a camera that wasn't on a phone; never-mind taken decent quality pictures with it without needing much editing
